[Class 97 (i).] An antiglare screen for use with spectacles &c. is so constructed that when placed in position between the spectacles and the eyes it is held there solely by the wearer's nose. In Fig. 1 the screen consists of a single strip 11 of tinted celluloid &c. having substantially circular side portions 12 separated by a tapered slot 13 adapted to engage the nose. A strengthening strip 14 of U-section is provided along the upper edge of the screen. In another form the screen is made in two parts connected by a rivet &c. so as to be foldable, the strip 14 being also made in two parts which butt together when the screen is opened out for use. The strip 14 may extend round the whole periphery of the screen. The tinting of the screen may be uniform or graded. In Fig. 6 the side portions 12 are provided with semicircular apertures 19 arranged in the wearer's line of downward vision. In another form the screen is made of opaque material having apertures in the side portions and these apertures are provided with windows having the desired colour density.
