<p>The method relating to the present invention is a method for measuring temperature of a mold copper plate C which constitutes a continuous casting mold for molten metal M, including: a first procedure of providing a reflection source R of ultrasonic wave inside the mold copper plate C; a second procedure of causing an ultrasonic wave to propagate in a direction substantially in parallel with an adjacent surface C1 with molten metal M of the mold copper plate C from an ultrasonic transceiver element 1 toward the reflection source R; and a third procedure of calculating a temperature of the mold copper plate C based on a propagation time of an ultrasonic echo Us that is reflected at the reflection source R and is detected by the ultrasonic transceiver element 1, and a temperature dependence of a propagation speed of ultrasonic wave.</p> |
