PURPOSE: A system for managing a pipe and a method thereof are provided to write only minimum basic identification information by manual punching during processes of manufacturing a pipe and write other related information in a barcode. CONSTITUTION: A barcode printer(140) prints a barcode sticker including a plurality of pipe related information. A terminal(120) inputs information for distributing and installing a pipe to a management server(110). A barcode reader(130) reads a barcode of the barcode sticker. The barcode reader provides pipe information to the management server. The management server obtains information about pipes.
