PURPOSE: A submarine excavator is provided to effectively remove and transfer contaminants and collected materials accumulated on the bottom of the sea. CONSTITUTION: A submarine excavator(100) comprises a main body(110), a boom(120), a suction pipe(130), an inhaler(140), a floating unit(150), and a power supply unit. The main body is movable on a sea bottom. The boom is extended from the main body, and the end of the boom can be adjusted. The suction pipe is installed in the boom and inhales contaminants or collected materials. The inhaler is installed in the main body and supplies suction force to the suction pipe. The floating unit is installed in the end of the boom and floats the collected materials upward. The power supply unit supplies power to the main body, the inhaler, and the floating unit. |
