<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher receiving a kitchen knife in a small article holder without deteriorating the capacity for receiving other small eating utensils received in the small article holder, and safely and reliably holding the kitchen knife, and performing efficient washing. <P>SOLUTION: The small article holder 20 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape having a top opening, includes a plurality of side surfaces A1, A2, B1, and B2 and a bottom surface C which are made of a lattice material passing therethrough a washing liquid sprayed toward the small eating utensils Gs and held in the small article holder, and which constitute a storage space for small eating utensils, and further includes partition members 21a and 21b for partitioning the storage space into a plurality of spaces. The partition member is formed with a partition member slit extending downward from an upper end of the partition member, parallel with one side surface, and having a predetermined depth, in the vicinity of the predetermined side surface A1 with which the partition member is made contact.
