<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a light emitting device that can suppress dispersion of the thickness of a resin layer and also prevent occurrence of unevenness in light brightness, chromaticity, etc. when dispersion of the coating amount of resin material for sealing a light emitting element occurs. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitting device manufacturing method has an oil repellent pattern forming step of forming an oil repellent pattern 2, and a mold resin coating step of dropping and coating mold resin material 15 into an area surrounded by the oil repellent pattern 2 on an interposer wiring substrate 1. When the width of the oil repellent pattern 2 is represented by W, the coating amount of the mold resin material 15 in the mold resin coating step is represented by V and the dispersion of the coating amount is represented by ΔV, W and V are set so that the mold resin material 15 runs on the oil repellent pattern 2 when the actual coating amount of the mold resin material 15 is equal to V-ΔV, and the mold resin material 15 does not spread to the outside of the oil repellent pattern 2 when the actual coating amount of the mold resin material 15 is equal to V+ΔV. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
