The present invention refers to a device (1) for the cerclage of fractured bones and to a system for the cerclage which uses said device. The cerclage device (1) according to the invention comprises a cerclage wire (3), a plurality of spacers (5; 5'; 5' ';25) arranged on said wire and slidable thereon and locking means which allow locking said spacers which respect to said wire at the desired positions; the device according to the invention also comprises one or more safety wires or threads (11) which connect said spacers (5; 5'; 5' '; 25) to each other, such that, even in the case of breakage of said cerclage wire or thread, said spacers are maintained fixed to each other by said one or more safety wires or threads and do not risk being dispersed in the body of the patient.
