<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately control switching between a frame inversion driving method and a line inversion driving method as methods for applying an alternating voltage to a liquid crystal display part. <P>SOLUTION: Switching is performed such that a line inversion driving method is used when the number of display colors used for a display data exceeds a predetermined number and a frame inversion driving method is used when the number of the display colors does not exceed the predetermined number. Then, a display part is driven to control display of the display data. That is, FIG. 6(3) shows a display state in the case where the upward scroll of six lines is performed from a display state shown in FIG. 6(1). The example shown in the figure shows the case where the switching is performed such that the line inversion driving method is used because a judgment value of the number of colors "N" exceeds a threshold value (for example, 500 colors) due to the appearance of an image data following a text data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
