摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately control switching between a frame inversion driving method and a line inversion driving method as methods for applying an alternating voltage to a liquid crystal display part. <P>SOLUTION: Switching is performed such that a line inversion driving method is used when the number of display colors used for a display data exceeds a predetermined number and a frame inversion driving method is used when the number of the display colors does not exceed the predetermined number. Then, a display part is driven to control display of the display data. That is, FIG. 6(3) shows a display state in the case where the upward scroll of six lines is performed from a display state shown in FIG. 6(1).
