Lever (14) pivots about an axis (20) offset radially and transversely from movement of the operating unit (42) and plunger (40). Operating device and plunger each engage lever in their longitudinal movement and rotation, transmitting motion to the microswitch button (72). Longitudinal plunger motion operates the switch (36) button. Switch forms part of electric circuit (38) connected to and operating ignition unit.
