A security document comprises a substrate 110 of transparent or translucent material forming a window or half window. A security device is integrated into the window comprising first and second different embossed security elements 111, 112 formed of embossed radiation curable ink, wherein the first element 111 and second element 112 each comprise a diffractive security element. The diffractive security element may be a diffractive grating, hologram or a numerical-type diffractive element. The security device may further comprise an inspectable security element and verification means for verifying another security feature on the document. The security feature enabling a latent image or colour change which becomes visible only when the verification means is overlaid over the security feature. |
