The device (1) has an upper ring (3) and a lower ring (5) connected with each other by bar carriers (7). Holding devices (9, 10) are secured at the upper ring and the lower ring. The lower ring is separated into two lower ring parts (12, 13). Free ring ends are rotated at a diagonal carrier (11) such that the lower ring parts are folded from a folded-up-rest position into an operational position. A longitudinal beam (20) is connected at a longitudinal center of the diagonal carrier. A pack frame (2) is made of aluminum.
