摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect welding defects in all types of products at an early stage. <P>SOLUTION: The defective electrode detecting device used for a workpiece made of a foil-like aluminum alloy includes: a reflected light collecting part for collecting reflected light of light waves scattered from a welding region; an infrared light collecting part for collecting infrared light; each sensor part for extracting the reflected light and infrared light having predetermined wavelengths from the light waves collected in each collecting part, converting the extracted lights to electric signals, and transmitting the electric signals to a welding state determination processing part; and the welding state determination processing part 11 for monitoring each of the signals during the time that elapses before the welding region is solidified. The welding state determination processing part includes a control and calculation means for monitoring the detected intensity of the reflected light and infrared light on a per time basis, an output means, and a storage means.
