<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To project the pocket of a glove compartment from the side face of a seat back. <P>SOLUTION: A second recess 16-2 having a symmetrical shape similar to that of a first recess 16-1 disposed on the side face of a seat pad corresponding to the outer side face 14O of a seat back 14 used for a side airbag is formed in a position left-and-right symmetrical to the first recess of the seat pad, and the second recess 16-2 of the seat pad positioned on the inner side face 14I of the seat back is defined as a glove compartment of the vehicle seat.
