<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a frequency capable of viewing in a viewing area. <P>SOLUTION: A three-dimensional display device 100 including a three-dimensional display 100a which periodically arranges and displays a plurality of viewpoint images, and a parallax barrier which is disposed in front of a pixel surface of the three-dimensional display 100a and separates light from the three-dimensional display 100a, comprises a positional information acquisition part 120 acquiring positional information of an observer, a viewing area calculation part 150 calculating a viewing area, a target viewing area calculation part 160 setting a target viewing area depending on the number of the observers existing in the viewing area based on the positional information of the observer and the viewing area, and a multiple viewpoint image control part 170 selecting an arrangement of the plurality of viewpoint images which provides a viewing area similar to the target viewing area of the viewing areas given when changing the arrangement of the viewpoint images. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
