Disclosed is a repeater (20) for relaying communication information communicated between a master device (10) and a slave device (30), wherein the repeater is provided with a reception means (21) for receiving communication information transmitted to the repeater; a storage means (24) which has at least one storage region and stores an ID of another communication device which is the next transmission destination in each storage region; a reading means (23) for reading, from the communication information, path information which is information for designating a storage region and is information for indicating a path configured by communication devices arranged at least from the repeater itself to the final transmission destination; a transmission destination specifying means (25) for specifying an ID of the communication device of the next transmission destination, on the basis of the storage region stored in the storage means (24) and the path information read by the reading means (23); and a transmission means (27) for transmitting the communication information to the communication device specified by the transmission destination specifying means (25).
