PURPOSE: An electrophoresis display device and a method of fabrication thereof are provided to realize the color which is desired by the driving the color particle without a color filter layer. CONSTITUTION: A TFT(Thin Film Transistor) is formed on a first substrate(120). A protection layer(124) is formed on the first substrate. A pixel electrode(118) is formed on the protective layer. A partition wall(180) is formed on the protective layer. An electrophoresis layer(160) is formed inside the partition wall. A common electrode(142) is formed on a second substrate(140). The color particles of the electrophoresis layer reflect the received light.
