PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wooden part coating repair method in which existing coating film removal work and coating work are combined and a coating can be repaired to achieve superior durability without affecting the environment. SOLUTION: In the wooden part coating repair method, an air blast device including a flat nozzle having a flat and substantially trapezoidal shape with a blow-out nozzle port opened in a slit shape, and enlarged from the base end toward the nozzle port is used. An existing coating film removal step is performed in which blow-out air pressure from the blow-out nozzle is set to 0.29 to 0.39 MPa and the air consumption amount is set to 4.8 to 6.2 m<SP POS="POST">3</SP>/minute, a naturally-derived material such as sodium bicarbonate or walnut shells in which the average particle diameter is adjusted to 0.2 to 0.3 mm and the Mohs hardness is adjusted to 2.5 to 3.5 is air jetted linearly as blast media, and this linear air jet is relatively moved substantially in the vertical direction and the existing coating film of the wooden part coating is removed. Further, a coating step is performed in which a coating for wood having vegetable fat and oil as the coating film forming component is coated on the surface of the wooden part having had the existing coating film removed.
