Each of the clients comprises a facade 103 allowing access by the avionics applications 102 to the data stored on the server. The facade 103 comprises means for the signing up of an avionics application 102 to a subscription to a modification of a data item, means for filtering the notifications sent by the data server as a function of the subscriptions of the avionics application 102, and for warning the avionics application 102 of a modification of a data item to which it has subscribed. Provides Data Distribution Service (DDS) type communications in an aircraft.
