The panel (30A) has a set of color pixels, where each pixel has red (R), green (G) and blue (B) sub-pixels (BSP11-BSPmn, ESP11-ESPmn, GSP11-GSPmn, RSP11-RSPmn). A set of interference sub-pixels is provided in each of the color pixels. The interference sub-pixels are disposed on a same plane and layer as the color sub pixels. The interference sub-pixels limit light penetrating the panel and traveling in side directions of the panel, where the interference sub-pixels are driven by a vertical electric field, and the color sub-pixels are driven by a horizontal electric field. |
