PURPOSE: An advertisement providing a digital picture frame is provided to improve the effectiveness and proliferation of advertisements on a digital picture frame by providing the digital picture frame to a user. CONSTITUTION: An advertisement medium memory unit(120) is attached within a frame and stores an advertisement medium. An external memory card(110) stores the picture of a user. A memory interface(111) accepts the external memory card. An image display unit(130) displays an advertisement medium stored in the advertisement medium memory and the picture stored in the memory card. A microprocessor(190) automatically displays the picture stored in the memory card at a video display unit when the memory card is inserted into the memory interface.
