FIELD: information technologies. ^ SUBSTANCE: biometric system disposes of a reference set of biometric data (B'1), produced as a result of application of an operation "exclusive OR" between the first set of biometric data (B1) and the first coded key (K1), and information related to the first key. The second set of biometric data (B2) is produced. The second coded key (K2) is determined, applying an operation "exclusive OR" between the reference set of biometric data and the second set of biometric data. The second key is decoded. Then it is determined, whether the first and second sets of biometric data correspond to each other, comparing information related to the first key with the second key. The first and second sets of biometric data are expressed in the multidimensional system of coordinates with N dimensions, at the same time biometric data at least by one of the specified N dimensions is produced by application of several treatments applied to a biological part; and the first coded key is produced by application of coding that transforms an initial word of certain length coded into the multidimensional system of coordinates. ^ EFFECT: increased level of reliability and efficiency of biometric data comparison. ^ 12 cl, 5 dwg |
