The assembly has a trolley with a double arm (159) that is extended in front of rear uprights raising from an inner frame (5) mounted on wheels. The arm is provided with supports (17a, 17b) engaged with support units (51) provided on a shopping bag so as to suspend the bags in a removable manner with the arm. The trolley includes a stop (161) against which the suspended bags are carried so as to limit the free tilting of the bags. The stop is located at the level of the arm. An independent claim is also included for a method for allowing a shopping bag to be usable on a trolley.
