<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode active material for manufacturing a lithium secondary battery having an excellent cycle characteristics and high discharge capacity by reducing a conventional drawbacks of the positive electrode active material, and to provide a manufacturing method of the positive electrode active material. <P>SOLUTION: The positive electrode active material for the lithium secondary battery is represented by the chemical formula (1).
