<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle operation input device allowing an intuitive operation input through the vision of a user by providing individuality to the indication of each input switch to thereby improve operability. <P>SOLUTION: An operation input panel unit (10) in which a plurality of touch input switches (12) are arranged on the periphery of a display (4) of a center cluster (3) is provided as the vehicle operation input device. Each input switch is constituted by providing an operation display panel (13) with a switch operation surface (12a) comprising a translucent part with translucent hollow characters or the like and an LED (15) lighting the switch operation surface from the back.
