<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide prescription checking circumstances of medical agents being effective for users to improve comprehensiveness and accuracy of prescription checking data and efficiency of prescription audit operations. <P>SOLUTION: The prescription checking system comprises: a first master file 31 for holding checking data of medical agents; a second master file 32 for holding checking data of medical agents; a prescription checking part 112; a prescription controlling part 111; and a terminal part 50. The prescription checking part 112 uses the first master file 31 and the second master file 32 to perform prescription check processing and outputs the result of the prescription check processing. The prescription controlling part 111 generates checking result data based on the result of the prescription check processing by the prescription checking part 112.
