<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer handle device that has a function for surely preventing unlocking of a door in a collision of an automobile with a simple structure that can be installed in a minimum installation space. <P>SOLUTION: A handle bracket B includes an input side rotating body 10 which is linked with a handle body H to be normally rotated against energization of an energizing body by a pulling operation of the handle body H, an output side rotating body 11 which moves a transmission member, which is linked with a door lock device by normal rotation by interlocking with the normal rotation of the input side rotating body 10, to an unlocking position, and connection means 12 for connecting both of the rotating bodies 10 and 11 to each other so that the connection thereof can be released. When a force to generate a movement in an operation direction x of the pulling operation is applied to the handle body H due to the collision of the automobile, a movable portion 12a constituting the connection means 12 moves to the vehicle outside Ex to release the connection of both of the rotating bodies 10 and 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
