摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that operates without deficiency in performance by controlling an optimal throttle mechanism in response to humidity. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes: a center temperature detecting unit 5 for detecting temperature of a refrigerant pipe installed in a substantially center of an indoor heat exchanger; an outlet temperature detecting unit 14 for detecting temperature of an outlet of the refrigerant pipe when the indoor heat exchanger operates as an evaporator; and a humidity sensor 15 for detecting the indoor humidity. When the temperature difference between the temperature Teva detected by the center temperature detecting unit and the temperature Teva_out detected by the outlet temperature detecting unit is larger than the prescribed temperature difference &Delta;T, the opening of the expansion value of the throttle mechanism is opened.
