<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regulator device by which conversion efficiency is optimized by selecting the optimal regulator according to output current in consideration of individual difference of regulators or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The regulator device having a power input terminal and a power output terminal includes: a plurality of regulators to be arranged in parallel between the power input terminal and the power output terminal; a conversion efficiency characteristic information acquisition unit which acquires conversion efficiency characteristic information showing characteristics of conversion efficiency to output current for each of the plurality of regulators; a memory unit which stores the conversion efficiency characteristic information of each of the plurality of regulators to be acquired by the conversion efficiency characteristic information acquisition unit; and a switching control unit which performs switching control of the plurality of regulators based on a value of the output current to be output from the power output terminal, and the conversion efficiency characteristic information stored in the memory unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
