<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide a storage place optimal for both a system and a user in storing a file in a memory device. <P>SOLUTION: A file management device 8 uses: a file attribute determination unit 4 to analyze a name and content of a file to be stored and to extract attribute information including multiple keywords, extensions and a file size; a matching determination unit 5 to check the extracted attribute information and attribute information of a file to be stored in a directory which is set to the directory by a storage attribute save unit 6 in advance, to extract matching item information, to assess a matching degree for each item information, to provide a user who operates storing of the file with path information of each of the selected directories in decreasing order of matching degree of the directories and to output information requesting the user to select one; and a storage process unit 2 to store the file in a directory that is specified by the path information designated by the user and is managed by a file storage unit 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
