MOVABLE BODY RECOGNITION METHOD AND DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize a movable object even when movable objects frequently overlap one another.

SOLUTION: A movable object is divided into mesh blocks and tracked by the block on the basis of an evaluation value. The evaluation value includes an average value of the square ¾VCm(t-1)-VBp(t-1)¾2of an absolute value of a difference between a motion vector VCm(t-1) of a block m corresponding to a time (t-1) of day when it is assumed that an identification ID of a block i at a time t of day is IDj and a motion vector VBp(t-1), p=1 to Nx, of a block which is adjacent to the block m at the time (t-1) of day and whose identification ID is IDj.
