A tap 100 includes a pair of service valves 200 provided to cut off the inflow of water from supply pipes 101 to enable the tap 100 to be serviced. The service valves 200 are provided within service valve housings 111, forming part of the tap housing 110 above the mounting surface. The service valves 200 can be accessed by removing the respective hatches 112 in the service valve housings 111, thus being accessible from the same side of the mounting surface as the tap 100, easing access for servicing the tap 100. |
