FLOATING MARINE STRUCTURE USING SEA WATER FOR COOLING

PURPOSE: A floating marine structure using cooling seawater is provided to reduce load of a submerged pump since a moon pool is used as a buffer. CONSTITUTION: A floating marine structure using cooling seawater comprises a moon pool(110), a suction tube(120), and a submerged pump(130). The moon pool is installed in the hull. A space is provided inside the moon pool for storing seawater. The suction tube is expanded from the moon pool to the lower part of the hull. The submerged pump is installed inside the moon pool to be submerged in the seawater, is connected to the suction tube, and sucks seawater through the section tube, so the moon pool is filled with the seawater.
