A system is described for positioning a first structure 10 relative to a second structure (12, Fig 1), the system including a suspension element 14 securable to the second structure, and a moving device 16 having a portion 26 for supporting the first structure and a part 20 for engaging the suspension element 14, wherein the part 20 for engaging the suspension element is configured for effecting movement of the moving device relative to the suspension element 14. A method for positioning a first structure relative to a second structure is also disclosed. The first structure may be a prefabricated modular unit which could include air conditioning equipment or services such as pipes or wiring. The second structure may be a structural member such as a soffit.
