PURPOSE: An addition type silicon resin composition is provided to have superior adhesion to adhesion-retardant material like polyphtahalamide and excellent sulfur gas-barrier property, thereby useful as adhesive, sealing agent, sealant, etc. CONSTITUTION: An addition type silicon resin composition comprises: organopolysiloxane containing at least two carbon-carbon double bonds, which is reactable with SiH group, in one molecule; organohydrogenpolysiloxane containing at least two SiH group in one molecule; an addition reaction catalyst; A reactant of the silane coupling agent containing (meth)acryloyl group and the silane coupling agent containing epoxy group. The reactant of the silane coupling agent containing (meth)acryloyl group and the silane coupling agent containing epoxy group is a reactant of the silane coupling agent containing (meth)acryloyl group, the silane coupling agent containing epoxy group, and a silane coupling agent containing vinyl group.
