PURPOSE: A photocurable gel polymer electrolyte composition is provided to restrain volume expansion and contraction in case of using as electrolyte for electrochromic device, and to have superior stability due to no side reaction with liquid leak and components. CONSTITUTION: A photocurable gel polymer electrolyte composition comprises an acrylate-based monomer, a binder resin which is non-reactive to the monomer and of which average molecular weight is 2000-5000, ionic liquid, and metal salt. The acrylate monomer is C1-12 alkyl(meth)acrylate. The metal salt is alkali metal salt. The electrochromic device comprises a first electrode, a second electrode, an electrochromic material and an electrolyte from the photo-curing of the composition.
