The unit (1) has a casing portion (10) comprising a pivoting unit with a cam connected to an input shaft (12). The pivoting unit has a glide to move the slide in translation and a roller mounted to move in rotation inside the slide. A ramp has a protuberance following a slope in direction of the shaft, so that the tool is in work or rest position when the roller is on a top of the protuberance, and another casing portion (100) and the tool pivot around a pivoting axle (5) if the roller moves along the slope. A compression spring (34) presses the slide to bring the slide against the cam.
