<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The device (1) has a waste heat utilization circuit (3) in which an operating medium is circulated, where an evaporator (4) is arranged in the circuit for evaporating the medium. Expansion machines (12, 13) are arranged downstream of the evaporator for expansion of the medium at low pressure. A condenser (11) liquefies the medium, and a compression machine (8) compresses the medium at high pressure. A preheater (15) is arranged between the compression machine and the evaporator for preheating the medium and removing heat from a cooling circuit (16) that cools an internal combustion engine (2). #CMT# : #/CMT# The evaporator is formed as a heat transmitter.
