<p>Use of N-carbamyl glutamic acid, salts or esters thereof in the manufacture of health care products for protecting liver or promoting muscle growth is provided in the present invention. N-carbamoyl glutamic acid can prevent and treat hyperazotemia, a liver cirrhosis complication, through increasing urea cycle in liver, and increase synthesis of arginine in the body, promote synthesis of proteins and muscle growth in low dose. Amino acids compositions and health care products for protecting liver or promoting muscle growth, consisting of N-carbamoyl glutamic acid, salts or esters thereof, arginine, salts or esters thereof, pyridoxine hydrochloride, glycine, compounds containing zinc, micotinamide, taurine, and succinic acid are also provided in the present invention.</p> |
