APPARATUS FOR DIAGNOSIS DC-DC CONVERTER AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An apparatus for diagnosing a voltage converter is provided to prevent a problem in the operation of a vehicle by diagnosing the offset fault of a voltage converter. CONSTITUTION: A current converter(30) generates the change of a current according to the on/off operation of a power switch device. A first voltage converter(51) changes a forward current, which is detected in a first current detector(41), into a forward voltage. A second voltage converter(52) changes a reverse current, which is detected in a second current detector(42), into a reverse voltage. A diagnostic part(60) diagnoses offset generation by comparing the forward voltage with the reverse voltage. A display part(70) displays the result diagnosed in the diagnostic part in a preset mode.
