Method and apparatus arrangement for obtaining fresh water and usable salts from crystallizing salt solutions, preferably natural brine from salt lakes using solar energy, comprise: heating a heat transferring liquid (3) circulating in an absorber tube (2) arranged in a focal line of a focusing solar collector; removing the injected salt solution via evaporation of water in a heat accumulator (4) and a heating body (5) of a single- or a multi-stage evaporation crystallizer; condensing in condensers (7); and removing the crystallizing salt in the form of a suspension from the crystallizer. Method and apparatus arrangement for obtaining fresh water and usable salts from crystallizing salt solutions, preferably natural brine from salt lakes using solar energy, comprise: heating a heat transferring liquid (3) circulating in an absorber tube (2) arranged in a focal line of a focusing solar collector; removing the injected salt solution through evaporation of water successively in a heat accumulator (4) and a heating body (5) of a single- or a multi-stage evaporation crystallizer; condensing the removed salt solution in condensers (7); and removing the crystallizing salt in the form of a suspension from the evaporation crystallizer.
