The invention relates to a closure device for an entry opening of a portable fuel tank, comprising: - a dome cover (12), - a filling hole (20) in the dome cover (12) for filling the tank, - a pressure arm (26) pivotally supported on the dome cover (12), wherein a metal filling hole cover (30) is attached to the pressure arm, and wherein the pressure arm can be pivoted between a closed position and a filling position, - a clamp arm (40) also pivotally supported on the dome cover (12) that can be pivoted into a clamp position when the pressure arm (26) is in the closed position, wherein the clamp arm (40) engages with the pressure arm (26) and thereby holds said pressure arm in the closed position, - wherein the pressure arm (26) and the clamp arm (40) are supported on the dome cover by bearings (24, 36) attached on opposite sides of the dome cover, and a circumferential elastic seal (48) providing a sealing seat between the edge of the filling hole cover (30) and the filling hole (20) in the closed position of the pressure arm (26), such that a gap (60) exists between the ring-shaped segment of the filling hole cover (30) and an opposing ring-shaped segment of the base surface (53) of the dome cover (12) in the closed position. |
