<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device capable of accomplishing space-saving of a shaft by a simple constitution in the elevator device in which two cars lifting to each other in a reverse direction in one shaft are suspended in a pulley block form by a suspension means. <P>SOLUTION: In the elevator device, first car and second cars 2, 3 provided in an elevator shaft 1 are suspended in a pulley block form by the suspension means 4 and are lifted to each other in a reverse direction. The first cars and the second cars are provided with a car room where a passenger of the elevator rides; and a support means suspended by the suspension means and for movably supporting the car room in a horizontal direction respectively. Of the shaft, a cross zone 1e has a predetermined vertical projection area where the first car and the second cars can be provided in parallel without interfering with each other and a range other than the cross zone has a vertical projection area smaller than the vertical projection area possessed by the cross zone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
