The invention relates to recombinant microbe host cell containing fermentative pathway of isobutanol, comprising molecules of DNA, coding a set of polypeptides catalyzing the following transformation of a substrate into a product: i) pyruvate into acetolactate; ii) acetolactate into 2.3- dihydroxyisovalerate; iii) 2.3- dihydroxyisovalerate into α-ketoisovalerate; iv) α- ketoisovalerate into isobutyraldehyde; and v) isobutyraldehyde into isobutanol, where at least one molecule of DNA is heterological for said microbe host cell, and where said microbe host cell produces isobutanol. Also the invention relates to the method for production of isobutanol by production of the mentioned above microbe host cell and fermentative medium, containing isobutanol, produced by the method mentioned above. |
