A method for the differential diagnosis of various forms of galvanism comprises the measurement of the difference between electric potentials, current and conductivity of the oral fluid between the metal inclusions in the oral cavity as well as the difference between electric potentials, current and conductivity of the oral fluid between the metal inclusions and the oral mucosa and mucosa of alveolar processes. 1.5-fold excess of all parameters as compared with the normal values is indicative of the decompensated form of galvanism. Otherwise, the compensated form of galvanism is diagnosed. |
