<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device which are for easy inspection of a defect of a green honeycomb molded article. <P>SOLUTION: A method for inspecting a defect of a green honeycomb molded article 100 having a partition wall 112 that forms multiple flow channels 110 extending parallel to each other, and sealing portions 114 that seal upper ends of some of the multiple flow channels 110 and lower ends of the remaining of the flow channels 110. The method includes a step of applying pressure with gas to the lower ends of the multiple flow channels 110, and a step of visualizing a distribution of refractive indexes of the gas near the upper ends of the multiple flow channels 110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
