<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a conventional tatami mat that when a tatami mat is laid on a wooden floor directly, there is a need for a frame or an adhesive tape for fixing the tatami mat. <P>SOLUTION: Magnets are installed in both end sides of each side in a mold composed of a plurality of sides, and the mold is incorporated in a tatami mat. By this composition, side faces of mutual tatami mats can be attracted to each other by the magnetic force of the magnets installed in the molds when the tatami mats are combined, allowing the tatami mats to tightly fit to each other without a gap.
