The reinforcement (1) is made of an electrically non-conductive material and an electrically conductive coating (2). The coating is made of electrically conductive particles (3), such as carbon black with iodine absorption property. The reinforcement is designed as a cord, where the outer peripheral surface of the cord has the electrically conductive coating. The electrically conductive coating is a bonding agent, such as resorcinol formaldehyde latex dip. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle tire with a radial design structure.
