<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power converting device intended to improve response time in a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: An electric power converting device comprises an electric power converting circuit provided with a forward converting unit, a smoothing unit and a reverse converting unit; a control unit that controls the reverse converting unit; and a voltage/frequency converting unit 4 that converts voltage variations of input analog signals into frequency variations. An output from the voltage/frequency converting unit 4 is inputted to the control unit, and an output frequency of the electric power converting device is controlled with the output from the voltage/frequency converting unit 4. A signal processing circuit 3 that converts a first analog signal Vin from outside and outputs a second analog signal V1 to the voltage/frequency converting unit 4 is disposed at a stage preceding the voltage/frequency converting unit 4, and this signal processing circuit 3, when the upper limit voltage of the first analog signal Vin is inputted, outputs the lower limit voltage as the second analog signal V1, or when the lower limit voltage of the first analog signal Vin is inputted, outputs the upper limit voltage as the second analog signal V1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
