The boxing support 1 is for supporting boxing 7 in a vertical plane during laying of a poured concrete foundation and has: a ground anchor 3 having a ground anchor portion and a bracket supporting portion; a boxing support bracket 5 pivotally mounted on the bracket supporting portion so that the at least one boxing support bracket is pivotable about an upright axis and the ground anchor can accommodate downward vertical loading from the bracket 5. Further brackets 5 can be stacked as shown.
