USE OF SOMATOSTATIN OR ONE OF ANALOGS THEREOF FOR PRODUCING MEDICAMENT SERVING TO REGULATE OVARIAN FOLLICULAR RESERVE IN NON-MENOPAUSAL WOMAN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a medicament serving to regulate the ovarian follicular reserve, particularly a medicament serving to reduce the depletion of the ovarian follicular reserve with time in non-menopausal women.

SOLUTION: The use of somatostatin or one of the agonistic analogs thereof is described and in order to accelerate the start of growing of quiescent ovarian follicles in non-menopausal women, an antagonistic analog of somatostatin is used. Somatostatin and agonistic and antagonistic analogs thereof are applied in vitro.
